ocean globe rescued
2:38 PMThis is a video I personally took yesterday, (June 22nd) while the men from Ocean Globe, one of the famous Dive shops here in Panagsama Beach, Cebu rescued their diving boat from gradually sinking. The monsoon rain caused by tropical storm, Frank wrecked the boat's tarp, filled it with rain water and badly impaired it's engine. It took more than 10 men to empty the boat till it surfaced. Anyhow, the storm has somewhat calming down now but the repair man has yet to start thinking how to redo the damaged boat.
As of 2:00 PM today, Frank (international code name: Fengshen) was located by PAG-ASA's radar, satellite and surface data at 360 kms west northwest of Baguio City with maximum suatained winds of 110 kph. It is forecast to move northwest at 15 kph.
