After all the fun and merriment, I quietly feel sorry for my aunt when we left her house yesterday morning. I'm sure she'll be in need of Panasonic upright vacuum cleaner to get rid of all kinds of mess and dust we along with bunch of other people (family and friends) brought to her house during her son's wedding day last Saturday.

But on the lighter side, I know she's happier now that the big day is finally over. She can start living the normal life again minus the stress the wedding preparations has caused her for the last couple of weeks. I am as well happy and proud of her to have successfully fulfilled one of her son's biggest dreams despite the absence of her better half who have been in God's loving hands for five years already. I'm sure my uncle is too seeing his family is still embracing the good and blissful life even without him.

Today, June 12 marks the Philippine Independence Day - an official holiday in the Philippine Calendar but since it falls on a non-working day (Saturday) it is moved on the 14th although the official observance of the holiday is today. That is one of the so many things that the outgoing President of the country is so fond of doing - making a calendar of her own, LOL!

So instead of Monday, classes starts for the majority of school institutions in all levels will start on Tuesday, 15th of June and these are the eager students in our family for school year 2010-1011.

They are my most special and priceless gift that I've had last Christmas and these were the first few pictures I had with them using the new Kodak camera that JK sent me last month for a Christmas present as well. And yes, in just less than a month I already took hundreds of new pics. I wonder if I still have extra space left in my hard drive after I sort them all out come the next few days. I might need an additional storage device, tsk...tsk...tsk!

It's back to school time for my two pretty little ladies.

T'was another sad farewell we had yesterday but hey, they have had a fun-filled two weeks vacation at least. Besides, Christmas is only a month shy away and it has been guaranteed to me that the most special time of the year is ours to celebrate together. I can't be any happier!

I got so many things in mind to do with them before and after Christmas. For one thing I wished for their presence when I have to put up a Christmas tree though I know it is an insurmountable idea unless of course if I decide to do it after Christmas which is a big HA... HA!

I know... just trying to un-break my eyes while doing this post. I am missing them already!

Finally she made it! Cuz, I know you're super busy so I really appreciate your effort even if it took more than 2 weeks of waiting, hahaha! No, but thank you really. You have no idea how much these photos mean a lot to me...

On pose is my second daughter, Naureen in her pretty flower girl gown during my cousin Liezel's wedding two weeks ago. There's a kinda long story behind why I felt so awkward attending this occasion but the fact that my little girl was part of the entourage and I can't afford to miss being with her in one of her precious moments, I just gave in and swallowed my pride.

Looking at these pictures, who can tell that it's not worth the time?

Family to me is everything. There's no one else that you can turn to in times of all sort of troubles other than your family. There's no comfort anyone can give like a family does and I'm just as glad I found my way back to where my real family is. For five years I've been away from them for some personal reasons and missed lots of events and special occasions that usually strengthen the bond of our relationship like birthdays, fiesta, anniversaries and other fun celebrations.

After the long way of waiting, coping up comes next and it started last summer. I have had the most wonderful time spending it with my two precious daughters along with the other kids in our family. For years I missed being a mother that I just so wanted to grab every opportunity I get to spend time with them. No empty space can contain the happiness that rushes through my heart when I first felt their warm embraces after a long time. God has been really good coz He made a way for us. It's never easy when you fall apart with your family but there is always hope like many people tries to believe and nothing is really impossible when you hold on to that hope.
