I was born breach and mom thought of naming me BREACHY but my late Papa strongly disagree, lol! So for whatever reasons, they then named me NANCY.

"Pa, wherever you are now, you did a great job when you did!" Hahaha!

As far as I am aware, Nancy is a common English name which according to etymology became a very popular name in the United States during the 20th century. I have nothing against my given name although there are times especially when I happen to hear or come across with unique names, I can't help but to wish they're mine too.

Anyway, speaking of unique names, ever wonder what your name would be if you were not named by your parents the way they do? Here's a new quick fun quiz from Blogthings. All you need to do is enter your name and your gender.

Mine is below. Why not try yours!

Your Uncommon Name Is: Audria Deetta Rustin

Weird, but it works.

Yep, the newest Yahoo Messenger10 is the coolest version I've ever used so far. Thanks to the tech who downloaded it for me after he got my PC reformatted. If not for that malware attack incident that happened to my computer last week, I won't get to enjoy this thing. I just find it so cool where it allows you to have quick access of your friends' updates . And look at its skin? There are several of them for you to choose from and as for me I picked ruby red to complement the black background of my desktop.

In case you want to try it too, you can download it from here.

Internet were down (again) for over 12 hours here in my part of the world. As early as five this morning I woke up, turned my PC on, attempted to browse a page only to get the same old error message from last night: NETWORK TIMEOUT and guess what... for the first time, I didn't bother to call and ask. I usually do but I opt not to. I didn't want to ruin my day so I just played music instead and did some of my hand sewing project. After completing my 4-piece bedsheet set last week, it's window curtains this time. I so wanted to take some pictures of my finished products but too bad... my camera just refused to work. SIGH!
Many times I've wished I grew up strong instead of being too emotional to handle troubles that life is tossing out unto me. Unfortunately I'm not! I hate the fact that I easily get destructed even by the simplest challenge. I easily get irritated over petty things that eventually leave me unproductive all through out my crankiness. Isn't that terrible? (See related posts here.)

It is undeniably the reason of the 8-day post gap that you may have noticed here. Within those days, I've been attempting to write but nothing just seems to come up from my head. It's maybe because of the lousy reason that I allow madness to take its toll on me. I used to be this way. I get to act as I feel and give no room for any explanation at some point as long as people I come in contact with get to recognize what I am acting up about.

Insensitivity on the other hand is one thing that turns me out. People may think I have the highest standard when it comes to such manner but please do me a favor... count me out if in either aspect you are.

(Excuse me for being so harsh but of course I am only referring to those whom I've known and talked to personally.)

On a lighter side, things are doing okay now and so am I. Now I'm free to go back and do the things I love to do again and that includes blogging, a little bit surfing on online casino news and other interesting materials online and of course blog visiting. It's been a while since I last did.
The biggest holiday of all holidays is coming and whether you agree or not to many, it means spending time. I hope not overspending though but still, to some it is more of a hard habit to break. They may just find utmost joy in giving so I guess we can do nothing about that. Well, for lucky people who have better options in managing their finances, I must say today if not tomorrow is the suitable time to reconsider your debts. In the same way, making it possible to realize ahead what your holiday budget will be.

Anyway, I'm talking about debt management alternatives. What are these? Payday loan consolidation, credit counseling and debt or credit consolidation plan. But how does debt consolidation work? In a most comprehensive understanding, it is a way of combining one's financial liabilities such as loans, credit card bills usually at a lower interest rate, thus making it easier to pay. Don't it sound logical?

Christmas holiday is for everyone to celebrate. Let there be no room for anxieties brought by unsettled debts. It is always wise to plan ahead and putting things in places is just as reasonable as allowing yourself to some breathing space while doing it naturally.
This camera set was the very first thing I ever received from JK. He thought it may help in my blogging hobby. He sent me this for a gift some time in April last year and now I am having this feeling I maybe losing it at any time.

For unknown reasons it just suddenly stopped working before I could even start taking pictures during our family day out last Sunday. Yesterday, he contacted Polaroid to ask what could have been wrong and he was told it may just have something to do with the batteries. I've been using alkaline and now I needed to switch to lithium as instructed by the company. This is the only hope I got now and I'm holding on to it.

I so love this camera. It takes good quality pictures and the thought of losing it just makes me real sad. Using my webcamera in capturing images over the last few days was just very inconvenient. I really hope it could just be the batteries. (SIGH!)

Hi, I just wanted to make way for a special birthday greetings here to my late Papa's sole sister, Auntie Bing. Her birthday actually comes a day after his. That's September 7 & 9 respectively.

We love you, te and we are graciously thankful that even with the absence of Papa, our family stayed strong together.

Happy Birthday and by the way, thanks for the box of butter scotch you sent for Papa's birthday too. Wish everything is well with you and the whole family. We miss you and we're looking forward for the next get together hopefully soon... or perhaps somewhere in December, huh.

We all love you...

It's my late dad's birthday today. Mom has to go to work even if it's a holiday so she called a celebration yesterday. It's been ages since we gathered out together. So yesterday we made way for it again but this time with the additions to our family, making it bigger with four little girls (mom's grandchildren) around with us. We went to the nearest mall, had lunch, allowed the girls to play and had fun in wonderland while we shopped.

Unfortunately, for whatever reasons my camera stopped working before I could even start taking shots, I don't know why. Both the power and snap button works but the camera screen refused to take any angles. It went all dark and spots nothing. Hay! I was so disappointed. I've been using it for over a year now and it never acted up like it did until yesterday. We we're all having fun though but it could have been happier and more memorable if we have pictures of us to look at after the celebration.

Oh well... better next luck next time, I guess.
You think you can shop for this?

or this?

Just some sort of ewww ideas from ewww minds! Hahaha! See more creative slippers here.
Have an ewww... Oops, I mean a fabulous weekend, everyone!

Yea, last Friday (28th) we attended another family occasion. This time it's my cousin Glenn and her wife, Lea's wedding. The couple actually had been living in together for several years and got one child but it was only this year that they finally had decided to receive the sacrament of marriage.

the newly wed

My daughter, Kate (one of the little girls) had her school exams during that day and we're no longer expecting she can make it but as you can see, she did! An hour or so before the ceremony she showed up with aunt and her sister Naureen. The make up artist then made magic to her face, dressed her up and walahh! There she is!

The rest of the little girls. From left are my nieces Jam and MJ. My daughter, Kate at the center. I forgot the name of the fourth girl but if I'm not mistaken, she's the bride's niece and lastly my cousin's girl, Knor Dynne.

the little girls with the newly wed's little boy, Andre

The groom and bride entourage. For me this is the prettiest pose they've done for the entire church ceremony. I just love looking at them that way. Did you know that they're making a family history so far? As you can see most of their maids were umm, a little bit of extra sizes. Those men right behind them obviously took good care of their health needs, LOL!
