September means...

Where are all the days have gone? Time is rolling so fast and September is setting in before we know it. To other September means rainy or cold season, to some it means an ordinary month but for many and especially to those who believe, it means a time to start saving up for the coming holiday season, is it not? Whether we want to be a Santa on Christmas or we want to celebrate it the ordinary way, the common denominator is we still have to spend and before we can do that we need to earn and save.

Finally she made it! Cuz, I know you're super busy so I really appreciate your effort even if it took more than 2 weeks of waiting, hahaha! No, but thank you really. You have no idea how much these photos mean a lot to me...

On pose is my second daughter, Naureen in her pretty flower girl gown during my cousin Liezel's wedding two weeks ago. There's a kinda long story behind why I felt so awkward attending this occasion but the fact that my little girl was part of the entourage and I can't afford to miss being with her in one of her precious moments, I just gave in and swallowed my pride.

Hi! It's like ages when I posted my last entry here. I apologize.

So now, here's to keep this page going. This bunch of grapes reminds me of the so fast approaching time of the year. Exactly 10 more days left and we about to welcome the onset of the season. You must know what I'm talking about or I would say you're not human, LOL! (KiddinG!)

By the way, I got this picture perfect bunch of seedless grapes from the mall yesterday while I got the time to unwind. As usual the price was on its peak the fact that its a seasonal fruit. About half a kilo (500 grams) is more than enough to satisfy my cravings. Munching some while inside the van on my way home and we (mom, brother) shared the rest after we had our dinner last night. T'was soooo sweet. We'll definitely not miss having this fruit again on or even before Christmas.

One of the nicest beach I have ever seen. The place has already been discovered but is still under developed. Being situated in a far-flung area, I can only imagine the only way to get there is to have your own car or rented vehicle... or else you will walk a distance.

Today my family and I will be leaving to attend my cousin's wedding. It's going to be like a day out for us so just thinking of dropping off my wishes here for all of you to have a fun-filled and safe weekend with your family and friends. I never thought it was a cake he's enjoying until I asked the man to turn the camera over to where he was. Finding him so adorable, I then asked JK to take pictures and just shortly...

here he was... LOL!

61st Araw ng Compostela culmination highlights

Exactly a week after we celebrated our annual town fiesta on 25th of July, we've witnessed just another festive and colorful 61st Araw ng Compostela celebration in August 1st. Here I'd like to share a clip video of the 30-minute fireworks display prepared by the local government unit during the culmination night and which was witnessed by vast number of Compostelanians about an hour after the program started. All lights were off around the place and shortly the colorful fires begun to light the sky.

Invited artists like once a controversial Candy Pangilinan, former Pinoy Dream Academy Scholar Ronnie Liang and famous stand up comedian and the people's champ (Manny Pacquiao) great impersonator, Pooh never failed to give Compostelanians a good laugh all through out the culmination night. Just sad it was impossible for me to take videos and pictures of them performing on stage because of the so thick and unstoppable crowd infront of us aiming for a better view of the performers.

family

Family to me is everything. There's no one else that you can turn to in times of all sort of troubles other than your family. There's no comfort anyone can give like a family does and I'm just as glad I found my way back to where my real family is. For five years I've been away from them for some personal reasons and missed lots of events and special occasions that usually strengthen the bond of our relationship like birthdays, fiesta, anniversaries and other fun celebrations.

After the long way of waiting, coping up comes next and it started last summer. I have had the most wonderful time spending it with my two precious daughters along with the other kids in our family. For years I missed being a mother that I just so wanted to grab every opportunity I get to spend time with them. No empty space can contain the happiness that rushes through my heart when I first felt their warm embraces after a long time. God has been really good coz He made a way for us. It's never easy when you fall apart with your family but there is always hope like many people tries to believe and nothing is really impossible when you hold on to that hope.
